ICE CREAM!
Thanks mom for the birthday present.
We have a bet going on how many times we'll use it.
So far all we've made is vanilla and peanut butter cup.

We were a little too late for the fall colors but this shot
caught my eye and reminded me of what the boys say
when they see an opening in the clouds...
"look mom, they're is heaven".

10.26.12 - What Do You Suggest?
One thing that Derk and I love doing is eating out at local
establishments so whenever we go away we always ask
the locals where to eat and then what the waitress
recommends. On our way up north for a weekend away
we stopped in Reed City. We stopped at one of their fine
establishments and was given this recommendation the "Strip Club".
The name only added the dining experience of which we
clearly stood out as someone who was not "local".

We didn't eat our apples fast enough this year so it is time
to make some applesauce...scrumdilliumcious!

At one point she would have never been allowed to lay on these
pillows and blankets but I am so ready for new comforter and
bedding decor.

At this point we are trying all different
kinds of sports to see what he loves.

10.18.12 - That's a Wrap Folks
Not only the for the incredible record but also the friendships
with colleagues and students, laughter and the excitement it all
brought! Every game in the OK red came down to 1 touchdown, they
averaged giving up only 12 points a game, ending the season 8 - 1.
